Trying to stop his sinking, more like. Remember, the guy's about to get boiled alive in radioactive steaming-hot water while struggling to climb off a lift of some kind. That would spoil your day something fierce.

Better way to die than what happened in the book, though. He got buried in bird crap.

Since nobody is posting a new one, I'll do it, but I'm not sure if I've done this already.
This is the only one I have ready

Okay, I have a fiendishly difficult one that will doubtless puzzle many until I start giving out clues.

First clue: yes, that IS an eyeball.

Well, I'll wait for a little while longer before doling out clues. You already have one: that's an eyeball near the top of the picture.

But keep in mind that it's not actually an obscure picture, it's fairly well-known.

Ok, I'll try something.
The matrix ?
I don't remember any eyeballs tbh, but I vaguely remember white space :?

No, not The Matrix, but not a bad punt.

Are you sure that's an eyeball?

I need to get out more.... because the longer I stare at that the more it looks like something very very naughty!

You do need to get out more. That IS an eyeball. And the only rude thing I can think of that even remotely resembles an eyeball, it ain't.

I'll leave this be for the day, and then give out another clue.
