Some of you talked about the Sherlock series. But the first series has only 3 episodes??
I found the dvd in a shop but didn't know if it was complete (the internet says it has 4 episodes??) plus there were no subtitles at all. I want english subtitles!

Crys, there really are only three episodes, but the double DVD contained the pilot episode, which was never shown on TV. A Study in Pink is actually a remake of that pilot.

My DVDs certainly have English subtitles because when we tried to watch it PBS in America, Sharlene had difficulty in understanding what they were saying, so when I bought the DVDs I checked that they had subtitles and have watched them with those subtitles.

As to there being only three episodes - the producers have said that is because the episodes are an hour and a half long, so more like movies than TV shows. It was thought that less episodes would allow them to spend more and make better shows.

Oh, I get it now, so 3 is ok.
But I checked and there was no mention of subtitles whatsoever, I was so disappointed I didn't want it even as a gift. I'll check again though, thanks ^_^

Actually there are two seasons, which both have 3 episodes, if you don`t include the pilot. I think that Sherlock is very brilliantly made, it`s very high in my favorite list.

After finding series 3 of The Brittas Empire in a charity shop yesterday, I watched three episodes last night and had forgotten how funny the show was. There were some real laugh out loud moments. Our boss in the Post Office at the time had the nickname of Gordon Brittas as he was very much like the character.

It also struck me that Judy Flynn, who played Julie in the show, would have made a really good Magrat if they'd ever filmed one of the Witch books. :)

Watched the first episode of Sherlock, season 2. It was great! Looking forward to watching the second one today.

That'll be the Hound of the Baskervilles one (the second one). Really good episode. The pun about Henry's name finally struck me when I watched it the other day. ;)

I checked on the internet to be sure, and it's said that the italian dvds, although having both italian and english audio, have no subtitles at all, which is very odd and annoying. I would have liked to see it :x

Yesterday I watched Easy A... wasn't that bad as I thought it would be, but it's not really my kind of movie.
