If it's back in time, it's probably a smart move to take some guns (ammunition will be an issue, though). It might also be a good idea to get those sword skills honed and perhaps some practice with a bow/ crossbow.

My daughter has chosen chemistry for one of her subjects next year btw.

Gunpowder isn't generally on the syllabus ;) But I've studied Star Trek, so I know how to make it too :D

The recipes I know don't mention diamonds. Might be something Star Trek specific. :think:
