Cats can easily survive such falls (or jumps) as long as they are high enough. If you look at the video, the cat spread-eagles and uses it's body as a parachute. Cats are amazing!

Season 1 is available on DVD from Amazon.com, but it's region 2, so you'd have to have an all regions player.

And I know it works in the US because I've watched it online while I've been there.
I know watching on a PC is not the ideal thing to do, but it's certainly an option.
