If there's nothing you want to buy, and no local activities that you're thrilled about, how about putting the money into a vacation fund? Is there a trip you've been wanting to take?

My trick is usually to get stuff posted to work or the parents and then sneak it home :D

The key is to SAY ABSOLUTELY NOTHING when she comes home with a shopping bag full of new shoes or clothes or cosmetics or receives a package delivered to your house. That way you can build up a reserve of "I never said anything about the _____ you bought"s the next time she questions one of your purchased. :D
