I like the updated dragon riders a lot and have voted accordingly however I would be more tempted by the first section of the piece rather than the end as it's more dramatic
One of those? Oh I'm sure I have one somewhere..

Kay - have set the poll to close later today/tomorrow.

We have a clear winner and a pretty good runner up - what I think we'll do is keep Twoflower's Theme for the intro sequence and go out with the Dragon Riders as our closing sequence and (depending on how much material we can bung in*) play it in it's entirety.

This way we have some 'padding' in case the questions don't run to plan and we can lull the audience into a false sense of security that this is 'just' a Discified QI when actually it's going to be a lot sneakier and scarier because our Elves are meaner and bad-tempered and that way we can go out on a more dramatic note leaving exhausted and humiliated guests in our wake... ;)

* I'm hoping to arrange the services of a rather competent photographer who's going to the convention to come along to our rehearsal on Friday evening and/or shadow us Elves in conclave over our running order in between other business on the Friday and early Saturday and use that in the closing credits - or people can pay me to keep them out of the footage whichever works best ;)

And in more good news - I now have the 'looping' on the intro sorted so it'll now play once and once only :P

Things'll go quiet on this in the run up to the convention but our photographer has confirmed so Penfold :o  is now welcomed on board at Elf HQ so some piccies of Strangely Fascinating antics and personnel will be filtering onto here in approx 3 weeks time I expect! :P

Enjoy the Convention everyone. It's a bit far to come all the way from Australia, so I hope everyone has a great time. It would be pretty cool if Terry Pratchett himself got to hear my music. :D I didn't expect that my self education experiments would be end up being used by you guys.

The latest version of all these tunes are here:

I'm sometimes amazed and surprised by what the judges award top marks for (more than a few of mine have beaten photos that I thought were much better), so you never know. ;)

Link to the final cut of the opening titles and end creditsfor Strangely Fascinating (done after the event as Lionel Fanthorpe wimped out on us at the last minute)... ;) But that meant Jason was back on the panel so it all worked out OK in the end

OPENING TITLES (mostly the panel)

END CREDITS (featuring the Elves) - may take a little time to launch ;)
