The company where hubby works used to be fun like that. Unfortunately, not anymore. I only like marshmallows if they're toasted. And I LOVE Altoids! They're a must have in my purse. There are a couple of stores here where I can get UK and sweets from other countries. It's always fun to try something new. Bouncy, my hubby is addicted to Big Red gum too.

Don't think I've ever seen the honey ones. I'll have to look next time. I like the wintergreen but not as much as the mint.

I'd've eaten allllllllll the marshmellows before they could be used in the shooter. I put marshmellows in the freezer so a bit of ouch if used as a missile I think.

I like the occasional marshmellow. For some reason I've never tried them toasted, though.
Now, Altoids are really great. Only tried the regular mint ones, though. I imagine I'd like the cinnamon flavoured ones, too, since I also like Big Red.
Never really got the hang of wintergreen. I know it is popular in the US, perhaps in the UK, too. Can't recall any German product with that aroma.
It comes from (m)ethyl salicylate, which some plants accumulate. It's also an ester that is easy to synthesize and I used to let pupils synthesize it at school. Strangely, most pupils DID know the smell but couldn't really say what it was.

I must say that I was pleasantly surprised to find that I could get Fishermans Friends in the US, although the flavours are limited (as they are in most countries). I take some of the blackcurrant flavour over for Sharlene and she likes the cherry flavour too. Apparently there is an apple and cinnamon flavour available, but i haven't tracked it down yet.

Yes I know about that site, Bouncy. But they don't sell them from there and the stores they suggest often only carry the original flavour. For example, Tesco used to carry the cherry flavour but haven't done in ages. Certain flavours are only available in certain countries and, although you can sometimes buy them online, you have to buy them by the carton and/or pay a fortune in shipping.

Thanks for the link though. I have managed to find blackcurrant, cherry, aniseed and original in the UK.
