Haven't had dinner yet but did sneak in a snack. Peach crisp (made with tree ripened peaches) hot out of the oven with vanilla ice cream. :D

went out for dinner last night and shared 4 starters between the 2 of us, gravadlax, chicken liver parfait, prawn cakes with salmon ceviche and ham hock and beetroot beignet. Nom nom nom

Just had lunch - M&S Fuller Longer range - Roast Pork Loin, with apple and cider sauce, mash and shredded cabbage.
Some are born great, some achieve greatness and some have greatness thrust upon them.

The rest of us are a bit crap.

I was about to post here and then realised I couldn't remember! :shock: Senior moment, that and my cooking is easily forgettable :lol:
Chicken! It was chicken and roast potatoes and chick peas and gravy.

We had chicken curry cooked by my son. The first real meal he has ever cooked! And damn good it was too. He is away to uni in a couple of weeks and realising that he's going to have to fend for himself, so we're coaching him through how to make some of his favourite dinners. Before now his highlight has been pasta pesto - and toast.

Tonight was spaghetti with king prawns and chilli followed by sticky toffee pudding. :D

Last night I made a lemon garlic roast chicken in the slow cooker. Never used a slow cooker before so it was a bit experimental but delish. :)
