Very strange. You should at least get a rectangle saying image. Try right-clicking on one of them and choose "show image". I've had this problem with some pictures on here in the past. It often disappeared after a while and I could see the pictures.

Anyway, here're a few more:

These I took myself in my mother's front yard:

Now I can see them! :D I did see "image" last night, but couldn't click on them. They're beautiful!

A friend gave me a rather odd looking plant supposedly from the succulent family. After transplanting it and regular watering regime it finally bloomed.

Does anyone know what the name of this plant?

I think that plant may be Tradescantia pallida 'Purple Heart'.

How on earth have we let this thread languish...

Found this pic on a science forum...

Caleana major (known as the Large Flying Duck Orchid) is found in Australia. Its main pollinator is the sawfly, though why the fly is attracted to the duck-shaped bloom is unknown. There is a sensitive patch on the flower, that when stimulated by the presence of a fly allows the labellum (the portion that resembles a duck’s head) to fold down, pinning the insect inside. This not only allows the orchid to collect the pollen already on the fly, but it is able to coat the sawfly its own pollen to be spread elsewhere.

and

The Aggie Rose. I dont know much about it other than it is now for sale in a nursery in America. I friend passed the pic onto me. Gorgeous huh? And this coming from someone who isnt that fussed on roses....

And now that I have finally mastered Photobucket (to some extent!)...

Here is a pic of my spider lillies that bloomed this summer. I had them for a precious week before the heatwave hit and happily I now have another two blooming.
