I'm a grunt for an Evil Multi-National Corporation Bent On World Domination. IE I work at Wal-mart. Basically inventory specialist (that's the title

) working the backroom.

I'm considering going back to school, thinking about filmmaking.

Is your store as insanely aggressive on shoplifting as the ones here are?

Not really. they tell us not to chase them anymore. (been that way for awhile.) not even allowed to say anything to them. have to call management.

Holy cow, really? We get at least one shoplifter a night from two of the Walmarts in my jurisdiction (there's three, it's a big county, lol). I swear, one of the LP guys thinks he James Bond or something.

Lol. We had an overnight manager like that.

but we don't have an LP (Loss Prevention for others) overnight. its just us, the cashiers, and the managers. hell, we don't even have door greeters at night anymore. People can just walk out with buggies of crap (and do). we do catch people occasionally, but its very rare. not like it used to be.

I'm currently a Librarian's assistant acording to the contract I signed today which means that I am employed for the first time since I started my degree
