Well, looks like my internet service provider has decided that there is an internet outage in my area until Monday evening! So, it looks like I won't be back on here until then. I'm posting this from a local library computer, but I'll be incommunicado for a while. So don't worry, if I'm not here for a while.

Q... we wait with bated (baited?) breath! I had a personalised call from my provider today to tell me that I need to change the settings on my dongle thingie if I want to continue getting my internet... (two of our mobile providers have merged here).... but I need to check.... they are nicking each others customers so even though they have merged they are still kind of independant. They insisted it needs to be done by Monday so good luck to me getting a positive answer over the weekend.

When she called I was running to the car to get home before Hayden arrived so I was asking all kinds of stupid questions as I ran huffing and puffing.... "yeah but.... I my home broadband connected with my mobile phone broadband so which one do I change? How come I only need to change one? How do I do that? Do I have to have the phone on or the computer on? Are you talking about that little pluggy in thingie under my desk? She was very patient...

I don't think I would survive anywhere but here. My mother only fed us fishsticks (pollock) and refused to allow us to eat at fish Fry's because she was CONVINCED we would DIE from a fish bone.

I just feel that I might have grown up a bit more inclined to eat fish if I had ever been allowed to see it in fried chunks. As it is, I cannot do more than eat a McDonalds fish sandwich. *choke* and those Are Not Good.
