Sadly and strangely they decided to move it to the sticks(/stiff weeds?I'm finally on the way in Snuff!Yeah!Sweet!
far away from any decent level of civilisation
But just to see Pratchett so deservedly being appreciated and loved by fellow countryfolk is always a good thing.

The Turtle returns to The Netherlands!
It may seem like things have been quiet around the Dutch Discworld convention, but behind the scenes we have been working hard. After the first CabbageCon in 2011 we received enough positive reactions to organise a second edition. And now we can finally proudly announce that the Turtle will return to the Low Countries. This time He/She will not even have to swim quite as far as last time, or be forced to navigate a crowded harbour: in fact, we will be staying in the picturesque seaside town of Zandvoort. Anyone who has a soft spot for Discworld is welcome to join us there from 24 to 26 May 2013.
This Wednesday, 1 August, our website http://www.dutchdwcon.nl will come back online. Come and check it out for all necessary information and of course to sign up for the convention.
Our newsletter will also be back, this time bearing the appropriate title News from the Beach. If you wish to keep receiving the newsletter, please go to our website and sign up as a user. You will only be able to sign up for the newsletter or for the convention itself after registering as a user on the website. Please note: the old mailing list will be deleted within a day or two from now, so if you want us to keep you posted, you really need to register!
In a nutshell:
When? 24-26 May 2013
Where? Hotel NH Zandvoort, Burg. Van Alphenstraat 63, Zandvoort (NL)
