New Books Bought

Postby Tiffany » Thu Jul 19, 2012 3:27 pm

Yesterday I bought from Waterstones,The World Of Poo, a very interesting book, plus got free a preview of Dodger.
In the Works, I found Terry Pratchett The Spirit Of Fantasy, by Craig Cabell.
Best wishes,
Tiff

I didn't know that, WWD, it seems so plausable & says nice things about Sir Terry in the acknowledgements & thanks his agent too, it also has pictures of Sir Terry.
The book wasn't expensive.
Best wishes,

Just ordered the first 2 of these from Amazon.

Harry Dresden would like Alex Verus tremendously - and be a little nervous around him. I just added Benedict Jacka to my must-read list. FATED is an excellent novel, a gorgeously realized world with a uniquely powerful, vulnerable protagonist. Books this good remind me why I got into the storytelling business in the first place (Jim Butcher )

That's some praise from the creator of the Harry Dresden series.

I shall loan them to my mate, Mary.

After she's had a squiz, I can send them over to you, if you'd like.
