Digital ink vs paper - your current thoughts

Not sure if it's been mentioned(I only skimmed) but one significant point, you can't get an autograph on a digital copy of a book.

Sure you can. Why, I know several authors who include personalized viruses with every copy they sell.

I read about a guy who had his nook digitally signed by an author on a page but she did not know how he did it.

A digital signature isn't the same thing as a signed book.
In 50 years I'll still have a signed book, chances are I won't still have the tablet/e-reader that the digital book was on.

People have gotten Terry to sign their bodies before now. Then they go to a tattooist and get the signature made permanent.

It does look good, I have to say, but no doubt all the fabulous wifi it has will not work at my flat, since I appear to be in an internet blackspot.
