As nearly 240,000,000 have seen this, I'm sure you have too.

As nearly 130,000,000 have seen this, I'm sure you probably have too.
It's dead clever! 8-)

Gotta love Walk off the Earth - do you know their version of Little Boxes?

The Star Wars one I didn't know, but it's great! :D

Good lord. I am so out of it musically these days.

Why even bother trying to parody it? The original song and the video are such mindnumbingly unoriginal, self-indulgent claptrap that their badness speaks for itself. The kind of twaddle you'd expect from a junior high school band that knows how to play two chords and gets all their melodic inspiration from Twinkle Twinkle Little Star. :angry-screaming:

Don't worry about it J-I*b, you can't help being old and boring, someone who's had all of life's juice sucked out of him.
Just kick back in your rocking chair on your deck and think about how much better everything used to be in the past.

...and here's my Green Day ticket and a list of the bands playing on the main stage (there are 6 stages!) 8-)

Hey, I'll have you know that I really like Green Day (although I thought their last album was a huge letdown after American Idiot; much too soft and commercial).

And I do love the Arctic Monkeys (again, their latest album sucks) and Arcade Fire (their latest album, The Suburbs, is a masterpiece.

And I still have faith that Radiohead will push Thom Yorke out of his boop and blip electronic obsession and make an album that lives up to the promise of OK Computer and Kid A.

But just about everything else these days? Bah humbug. :D

East Jesus Nowhere - one of the greatest songs ever written. 8-)

Raise your hands now to testify
Your confession will be crucified
You're a sacrificial suicide
Like a dog that's been sodomized

(Stand up!)
All the white boys
(Sit down!)
And the black girls
(Stand up!)
You're the soldiers
(Sit down!)
Of the new world

Put your faith in a miracle
And it's non-denominational
Join the choir, we'll be singing
In the Church of Wishful Thinking

A fire burns today
Of blasphemy and genocide
The sirens of decay
Will infiltrate the faith fanatics

Oh bless me Lord for I have sinned
It's been a lifetime since I last confessed
I threw my crutches in "the river of a shadow of doubt"
And I'll be dressed up in my Sunday best

Say a prayer for the family
Drop a coin for humanity
Ain't this uniform so flattering?
I never asked you a god damned thing!

A fire burns today
Of blasphemy and genocide
The sirens of decay
Will infiltrate the faith fanatics

Don't test me
Second guess me
Protest me
You will disappear

I want to know who's allowed to breed
All the dogs who never learned to read
Missionary politicians
And the cops of the new religion!

A fire burns today
Of blasphemy and genocide
The sirens of decay
Will infiltrate the inside
Yeah!

I thought Green Day's last album was ther best ever.
The Arctic Monkeys first album was amazing, the second OK, the third absolutely dire.
Don't know Arcade Fire - I'll go check them out.
Radiohead peaked at OK Computer IMO. 8-)

The Arctic Monkeys first album was amazing, the second OK, the third absolutely dire. (AGREE totally.)
Don't know Arcade Fire - I'll go check them out. (Try Funeral first, The Suburbs second, and Neon Bible last if you like the first two.)
Radiohead peaked at OK Computer IMO. 8-)(TOTALLY agree. I still think OK Computer is the best album of the past 25 years.)

What exactly is "corporate"? never heard of that genre before.
