Wow Del, I've heard of the condition, but never spoke to anyone who is living and dealing with it on a daily basis. It sounds like you have your hands full, and I mean just with dealing with the wicked sense of humour!

Kids always amaze me. Their ability to cope, and adapt, far outweighs the parents'. With our silly limitations and constant boundaries, we've managed to 'educate' the child right out of ourselves. We should be more like our children - they may be smaller, but they have no concept of their limitations or their horizons,so they just assume they can do everything. And they're probably right

Del, my sincere 'thank you!' for your kind words! I read your post this morning and I was amazed by your words about me and whole your post!
Del, As you I always hear voices when I read. It is especially thrilling when I read poems… I hear loudly shouts and quiet whisper… there are so many people’s emotions in poems! … Sorry, I’ll continue for topic…
At first it was as ‘it’s a kind of magic!’ ©: I suddenly started to hear English speech when I read English! Of course, it was my first seriously English book - “Thud”. And now I hear different voices when I read this forum. But from time to time I make mistake. The writer's gender is more apparently In Russian language (because of the end of verbs ). In English language I must know about names for define gender (Philip is a boy and Ann is a girl! ) . But I’m not good at this . That’s why seldom I hear man voice when I read a post and later I guessed that it was woman!
I desire to learn English more and more and starting this week my English lessons are continue. Honestly I don’t like our new teacher (man about 34 years old, he seems too presumptuous and vain about his person ) but he promised that we’ll speaking fluent after 6 months ((I and my colleagues)) … That's why I'll try be patience, I believe and hope!

Hm, I can see there might be problems translating Feegle into Irish (or specially Scots Gaelic!)

Seriously, "The Hobbit" has just been brought out in Irish ("An Hobad"), so why not TP? He has been translated into many languages that have much less in common with British culture than the Irish have.

It is, but broader to take in things like prophecy and 'foreseeing' so there's a supernatural, even manipulative connotation to it as well
