[Catch-up]

Reading Crimes by Moonlight, a series of short stories edited and with a contribution by Charlaine Harris. This came out a couple years ago and I don't know how I missed it! Usually I find these collections hit or miss, but I'm about halfway through and they're all good so far!

Started Prisoner of Heaven by Carlos Ruis Zafon this morning. Third in the series based around the cemetery of lost books in Barcelona. Not one for the Kindlers as they're about the beauty of books
Then i'll start Whispers Under Ground (Bouncy a copy will be on its way in a few days )
Can't be reading ten at a time like young author

im reading an amazon freebie ebook called vampire apocalypse at the moment and its surprisingly good

All of his books are written like that - they are very beautiful to read - apart from the horrible bits of course.

You're right. Thomas Harris' prose is beautiful. They are incredible books.

I thought I had read him before, but I guess I hadn't. That's the problem with seeing movies first - you forget to read the books

Almost finished with Chasing the Moon by A. Lee Martinez. Really fun read!

From the back cover:
