A quick Wiki reveals three likely candidates, but knowing you, it's The House at Pooh Corner by A.A Milne.

BTW, Pooh, you DO know what happened to poor Christopher Robin Milne, right? :|

Probably pricey though as i got a first edition of it for less than 50 quids in decent nick

Is that from Monty Python, that quote? I've heard that quote from somewhere, I just don't know where...

Digital ink v Paper

2007 Kindle is launched

2012 In the US, ebooks outsell paper books

2015 ebooks account for 75% of all book sales
Waterstones and WH Smiths go out of business

2017 ebooks account for 99% of all book sales
Paper books are discontinued because they are no longer economically viable to print

2020 The last paper books are removed from all libraries

2021 All books downloaded now contain advertisements before and after each chapter

2022 In an attempt to destroy paper books once and for all, all ebooks are programmed with subliminal images designed to brainwash people into ridding the world of paper books

2023 KINDLENACHT
Mind-programmed ebook readers go on a rampage, ransacking all paper books from charity shops, dousing them in petrol, then setting them alight.
ebooks total victory is secured.
Access to knowledge through books is successfully denied for all poor people

2024 Because of monopoly powers, the prices of ebooks and e-readers sky rockets. Reading is now the pastime of only the wealthy

2025 Mini-book implant technology is launched

2026 Within a year, all ereaders are obsolete. Planet Earth now has a problem of how to get rid of one billion ereaders without destroying the environment

And when you realise the first tablets were made by microsoft (in 2002) it all makes sense.

(You know in chess you're supposed to think several moves in advance? Or are you talking about Irish chess, where you get an extra go if you shake a six, 20000000000000000000 euros for passing "go", and you have to answer questions on art and literature?)

I have a confession to make. I swore out loud in my local convenience store today.

I saw a guy wearing a white T-shirt with an outline of Japan and a red circle (japanese flag) with some writing on. That's a cool T-shirt, I thought. Then I read what it said in the red circle;

"The land of the rising sun will soon become the land of the risen Son."

"F*#k off!" said I loudly. And people looked at me funnily.

Ah TShirt related fun.
Yesterday I made the mistake of not thinking about what i was going to wear and just grabbing what was handy.
We were going to the Births and Deaths office in Dublin to register Harry and get his Birth certificate and i wore my Darth Vader tshirt with the slogan Who's Your Daddy .
Got a lot of very starange looks especially from the single mothers
