I managed to get Spain in the works sweepstake so I have won at least £20. If they win, I will pick up £50. However, at the start of the tournament one of my colleagues, who has Germany, suggested we just split first and second prize if both make the final. I agreed so will probably get £35 instead. :D

So with TWO games left, this competition is starting to heat up. :roll:

To make it that anyone can still win, seven points for a correct score and three points for a correct result. (scores after 90 minutes)

Germany v Portugal 4+ -1

Spain v Italy 1-2

Err, sorry to say this Pooh but I'm guaranteed £20 and there is only the final left. (They don't have a third/fourth place play off in the Euro's.) :shock:

My guess for the final is;

Spain 1 - 2 Italy :D

There isn't a 3rd/4th play-off game? :o :o :o

Bugger me! I didn't know. :roll:

Well that alters everything then.

Let me have a think. :think:

Right! I've had a thunk. :dance:

Half time score = 7 points correct & 4 points correct result
Full time score = 7 points correct & 4 points correct result
First goal time = 5 points (say a time and whoever is nearest +/- wins)

So;

HT Spain v Italy 0-1
90 minutes Spain v Italy 0-2
1st goal 11 minutes

Spain win 2-1

first goal 57th minute :D

Turns out they haven't had a third place play off since 1980 :roll:

How was I to know? :roll:

a) England don't qualify very often
b) Once England get booted out I tend to lose interest coz the games are usually on at silly o'clock in the morning. :dance:
