Truckers

Postby wessex_exile » Sun Jun 17, 2012 10:53 am

Dear Forum - my son is immensely enjoying being read Truckers as his bedtime story. I know it was adapted for TV (I remember seeing it myself), and I've found VHS versions on Amazon etc., but do any of you know whether it was converted to DVD format - or even available to view online anywhere (e.g. i-Tunes)?

Many thanks for any help you can provide.

Welcome to the site, wessex_exile! :)

I don't know if it was ever made into a DVD in the same way that Soul Music and Wyrd Sisters was, but I'm pretty sure it was available to watch on YouTube, at least a while back, as I saw it there myself.

Good luck!

To the best of my knowledge it was never released on DVD. I still have the VHS but wouldn't risk using it in my antiquated player. There's a pretty good chance the tape wouldn't survive.
