Should have been 1-1 though, that was a goal for Ukraine

Rooney should have had a penalty as well, but stayed on his feet.

Ukraine played well, though.

Well done to England, and a bit of a surprise to finish top of the group by three clear points as well.    :D

Just a quick question on the next round, Pooh; Are the points awarded for the win/draw/loss/correct score over ninety minutes, or after extra time if the game goes that far?

...and a very good question indeed Pinflod.

The points are awarded at the end of 90 minutes and for the quarter finalas and semis are as follows;

Correct score 5 points
Correct result 2 points

Those people who have their chosen scorer still left (ie everyone who didn't pick Dutch players), 1 point per goal.

I can't be arsed to do the scores for after the England game coz everyone got 1 point. 8-)

Here are the next games

June 21
Czech v Portugal

June 22
Germany v Greece

June 23
Spain v France

June 24
England v Italy

Can a match still be 1-1? When does it start that they have to fight to the death? (Or till someone wins, whichever is first :P )

It can over the normal course of play, mC. If after that period, the result is a draw both teams play an added thirty minutes 'Extra Time'. If the teams are still drawing after that, the game is decided on a penalty shoot-out. Pooh's scoring system is over the course of normal play (90 minutes plus injury time). :D

However, one more question for Pooh; If a person's chosen goalscorer scores in extra time, do they still get a bonus point?

No, they don't.
But if their player scores an own goal in normal time they get a bonus point.
