As there's a very interesting review on Long Earth in June's Discworld Monthly, I'm going to give my opinion on it too.

Having read it twice now, I'd just like to say that I think it is brilliant, because not only could I relate to it, but also it really made me think.
However, I have a feeling that some people might not be so impressed.

The only criticism I have is, I wish it could have been 10 pages shorter.

Having finished the book, I have to completely agree with the above statement. All products mentioned, although not obvious at the time, are mentioned for a reason. My sincerest apologies for daring to doubt the Master.

Still not obvious to me after finishing the book, could you explain?
