Euros 2012 Predictions & Scoring

I can't think of any team that hates another team more than the Irish hate the French.

Celtic v Rangers? Nothing!
Man U v Liverpool? A mere tiff!
L'Arse v Spuds? Handbags!

My team (Irish Justice Department Team (my bro works there))played the irish prison guards team and there was 7 red cards .
Games with them tend to end in a riot and a few hospital visits

So what would the perfect Irish team be?
If you could choose anybody (living or dead), would James Joyce, Pádraig Pearse or James Connolly be in it?

You do one for Ireland and I'll do one for England.

For starters I'd have Ian McCulloch (Echo and the Bunnymen) at #9. He'd be a bit like Peter Crouch - all legs but could head the ball a bit.

No 9 The Duke of Wellington , Great shot (with a cannon) and yes he was Irish
In goal Bono , He thinks he can save the world so i'm sure he can manage to save few balls
Centre Half no 4 Michael O leary (and Captain) Can lead with the same magic he gets money from nothing with Ryanair.
Centre Mid St Brendan. He can sail his way through other teasm like he did the Atlantic
