They really are cute but I was hoping to get one or two water voles instead. He was very wild to tell the truth but as I had been standing very still next to a tree, waiting to photograph an entirely different subject, he didn't seem to notice me. I watched him go into the water from the opposite bank and he came out about ten feet in front of me. He soon ran away when someone else walked by. The second rat was a little less alert and ran almost up to my feet before realizing I was there but he actually got to close for my lens to focus properly. :lol:


They are both adorable. I can see the difference now that you've mentioned it. They remind me of the pet rats the girls used to have.

And in Heather's case, there were sometimes Third Thoughts and Fourth Thoughts, although these were quite difficult to manage and sometimes led her to walk into doors
