BTW, some good news for people who know about my literary endeavours. Well, good news, not so good news, and good news.
The first bit of good news is that I have finally, after 144 drafts, completed a full draft of the novel I was originally going to do for the TP Prize back in 2010. It's very different, but I have managed to get something together.
The not so good news is that, frankly, the second half is partly crap, the first half is okay but creaky, and the whole lot (but especially the second half) needs substantial revision. But it's a start to finally completing this novel, now and forever, Amen Hallelujah peanut butter. And I know what direction I want to take it.
The second bit of good news is that I also have, finally, a workable concept for a TP Prize novel that is interesting enough to engage my creativity. Research begins tomorrow!
Four minutes? That's ages! What if I get bored? I need a television, a couple of books. Anyone for chess? Bring me knitting.
