Xacly!

And it requires talent to copy a reference in a way to produce a living, natural-looking picture. (I know I have trouble doing it) You're good! Your characters are endearing, the expressions are great :) And the thing with drawing is, if you continue doing it, you'll only ever get better! Isn't it great?

Hello! Well, it looks like when my internet is down and the library is closed, I'm quite productive. Here's the result of yesterday's fanart spree: http://mi-chemin.net/carnet/?p=149&lang=en (linking to the blog post so you get the comments as well, I hope it's all right)

Yes, that's the problem I have with her, she's a bit too beautiful to be Magrat :D (and someone in the blog comments said she looked like me, which I don't know what I should think of^^) But thank you all the same :)

I think with the Magrat one it's not so much her prettiness but her serenity there? I don't think Terry ever says that Magrat's not good-looking (just flat-chested) - it's more to do with her angsty posing and obsessing with folklore and artefacts. The thing with the Witches is they're all about polarity in some ways? With Granny and Nanny they're opposites in their sexuality to be obvious and with Magrat and Granny its all about confidence in their own power I suppose?

In other words Magrat looks too happy and content there! ;)

Granny on the other hand is bang on

I haven't been here in a while... and nobody's posted in this thread since? Come on, artists!

Anyway, I remembered the forum because of the Caroc Cards Ross was making on deviantArt, so I sent him here. And since I did a couple of Discworld pictures recently I thought I'd post them here:
