They apparently went as far abroad as Spain for that episode.

Not the first time they went to Spain to shoot Doctor Who, mind. Seville and a nearby hacienda was the setting for much of The Two Doctors. Sontarans seriously sweltered and sweated in scorching Spanish sunshine.

Many 'Spaghetti Westerns', including "The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly", were filmed in Spain as well. :D

And this isn't the first time that there has been a Roast Beef Western, either. A Doctor Who story from the Sixties, The Gunfighters, was of course filmed in a television studio and a film studio. And the Red Dwarf episode Gunmen of the Apocalypse was partly filmed in Laredo, a recreated Western town in Kent.

Funny story about the Red Dwarf episode, apparently. When the script reached the eyes of a head of department, she ordered it be shut down, as she believed that it would cost too much to film. By that time, the episode was about to go into post-production!

Amy/Rory final episode to be shot in New York.

People will die, apparently.

Loved the suggestion (in the comments) that the Statue of Lib. is a weeping angel.

Well, all there really is is Torchwood and maybe K-9. Can't make The Sarah Jane Adventures without the late, lamented Elisabeth Sladen... :(

I don't live in New South bloody Wales, I live in Queensland! And Weeping Angels are meant to be fast! Imagine if everyone in New York decided to take their eyes off the Statue of Liberty! It could be around the world and here before you can say 'Schrodinger'. :o

Besides, it's just the concept of a Weeping Angel that size... :?

I couldn't remember where you lived, but at least I didn't say NZ!

But, but, but, can weeping angels travel over water? Hmm?

Look, if one can replicate itself through a frakking TV screen, or cause a lightbulb to go kablooey, then I think it's safe to say that water can't stop them. Hell, it might be that they don't have to travel over water. They can probably travel under it.
