Has anyone read Divergent by Veronica Roth? I can't wait for Insurgent to be released!!! If you haven't read Divergent, you can read the first 100 pages on the publishers' website here:

I've been thinking about reading it for a long time but I'm not too certain anymore.I'm not really interested in dystopian novels.

Have you read The Hunger Games? Or Matched by Ally Condie? I'm not interested much in dystopian books either, but some are pretty great.
Description of DIVERGENT:
"In Beatrice Prior's dystopian Chicago, society is divided into five factions, each dedicated to the cultivation of a particular virtue—Candor (the honest), Abnegation (the selfless), Dauntless (the brave), Amity (the peaceful), and Erudite (the intelligent). On an appointed day of every year, all sixteen-year-olds must select the faction to which they will devote the rest of their lives. For Beatrice, the decision is between staying with her family and being who she really is—she can't have both. So she makes a choice that surprises everyone, including herself.

During the highly competitive initiation that follows, Beatrice renames herself Tris and struggles to determine who her friends really are—and where, exactly, a romance with a sometimes fascinating, sometimes infuriating boy fits into the life she's chosen. But Tris also has a secret, one she's kept hidden from everyone because she's been warned it can mean death. And as she discovers a growing conflict that threatens to unravel her seemingly perfect society, she also learns that her secret might help her save those she loves… or it might destroy her."

Yes I have read The Hunger Games and enjoyed it,but I'm not very interested in continuing to buy and read dystopian novels but if I find this book for a cheap price I'll buy it.

Irish libraries out in the country suck as well

Both Pip and Author3 are in the ROI.

No it's not really the libraries that I'm afraid of,it's that when you give the book back you have no idea what condition it could end up in,which makes me sad and so I try and stay away from them.I also hate giving the books back ;)

I can understand that. But my library keeps the books in good conditions, so I'm okay with it. :)
