See there are far more funny cat pictures and videos on the Internet than funny dog ones. Dogs just aren't funny.

True, but then again, the Cat movement has the power of 4chan behind it, and you can't compete with 4chan. at least, not for very long

Its because a cat will become mesmerised with their tail and do cartwheels while you film. Whereas the minute you walk up to your dog he runs over to you and YOU are the object of interest and he's jumping all over you and wanting a pat or wanting to play or wanting food.
Pull out a camera a dog will be on your lap going
"Hi! Hi! Whatcha got there? Is it for me? Is it? Huh? Is it food? Its food isn't it! Can I see it? Can I smell it? Let me lick it! Throw it for me! Throw it for me! Throw it for me and I will run and get it! Throw it for me! Hi! Hi! How are ya! I'm so happy to see ya! Hi!........."

That's exactly what happens whenever I try to take pictures of my sister's doggies. The cats just leave the room when they see the camera...
