Well I am not a cat lover I have to admit.

Jess once was pestering mum for her food, and was a bit too early. Mum told her to go to her bed until The Archers was finished. (It's a radio programme, in case you didn't know, from 2pm to 2.15pm Monday-Friday).

She duly went to her bed, and as soon as the theme from The Archers started up, she rushed into the kitchen with knife and fork at the ready!

During Christmas dinner my mother told one of my sister's doggies to go to her (the doggies) bed (which was in the next room). Good doggie left the room and came back in, dragging the doggie bed right next to the dinner table and slumped down in it. The look of satisfaction with her own cleverness on her face was priceless!!
