I don't think there's any question there won't be a SotD4 - Jack Cohen was happily gossiping about it at the Irish Con :D

Erm, why does Terry look like a vampire? And why has somebody stolen Rob's nose and mouth?

I think the authorities should be alerted. ;)

I wish. We were so busy coming third in the Universally Challenged and generally doing interesting things, that we hardly had time to get the pints down!

I haven't read 2 or 3 yet and didn't think that much of 1.

One is a bit of a warm up. Two and three are more fun.

To be honest, I got bored with the science bits (or perhaps it just went over my head), so I just skipped that part, and read the story.

That's kind of how I felt - and I like science normally. I think it's because the science seems to be intrusive to the flow of the story. Like having to finish your school dinner before you are allowed to have afters.

2 is very neat, 3 feels a bit rushed in the end.
And I'm all for a reprint that seperates the story from the sciencebits.

Science is good for you, people! Not this science, but still.
