I feel quite happy. Had my first day of my four weeks' placement at the chemist's and not only does it seem that I like it there, it also looks like I wouldn't dislike owning a chemist's myself after I've finished studying.
Up until now I thought I'd rather go into research (and I still do, but the other option seems nice, too.)
We'll see what the next days bring.

Or, now you're moving on elsewhere, she no longer feels her position at work is threatened by you being better than her. (A similar thing happened to me when I first started at my current place. I have 28 years or so experience and a young manager, with a lot less experience, was quite unpleasant to me until he realized that I had no ambitions to 'climb the ladder' and was not 'after his place'; now he is mostly nice).

Well done CB, it's always nice to have options and at least you have plenty of time to look into the business side of owning your own chemists.

I have done the classic old persons trick, was in the library and my glasses case is empty. Did I leave them at home? Did I leave them in the last place I visited? Panied phone call then rushed home to see if they are are here. No sign, then I realised they are hanging from my jumper neck all the time.
