Everyone says it's like Pratchett/Adams

Postby Dani J Caile » Mon Feb 06, 2012 7:17 pm

"Small Gods" was my favourite book for almost a decade, it is a FANTASTIC BOOK, as are all the others from Discworld. But 'Small Gods' made me want to write, and it heavily influenced what I finally did create. Everyone who's read my offering says there's some Pratchett in there, mixed with Adams, plus other influences.
Here are some quotes from feedback on authonomy.com.
"...Pratchett and Adams...I could see shades of both in your work..."
"...does remind me of Pratchett or Adams..."
"It’s as though someone put a rocket up Terry Pratchett’s derriere and then fired him into a drunken Adams." (my favourite)

All I'd like is some feedback, as Pratchett readers and readers in general.
