Good luck, let us know how you get on!

I play it through an emulator on my mac - I think it's windows xp, which has computability modes. All you need to do (I think) is fiddle around with lower colour settings and the right computability mode to make it work.

It will run for a while on my old XP but eventually hits a problem as it doesn't seem to remember all the places I've been and people I've talked to. I got stuck so eventually looked up how to progress on a bulletin board only to find that I had already done everything I needed to do it's just that the game didn't recognise this
One of those? Oh I'm sure I have one somewhere..

The game is available to DL at classicgamingpresents.com I'm currently DLing the 2nd game as I haven't played that either. I will post once installed about how well the game runs on Windows7 (Hopefully very well :D )

Ah, I see. Well I deleted the link and don't have a record of it, so the only thing I can suggest is that you contact the original poster by PM. :)

Hoorah for Discworld Noir! I've been replaying it for the past week or so, love it! I use a Win 98 emulator to play, just love the nostalgia kick of the old OS boot up music :D
The class was learning about some revolt in which some peasants had wanted to stop being peasants and, since the nobles had won, had stopped being peasants really quickly.

I had always wished that this story would be re-written for a book/novel one day ...

I am going to play this in easter. 8-) The first time I played it, i had not read all the books. (a loooooong time ago) I did the other two last summer and had to have the walk through for almost every step. WTF was shouted quite frequently. As I remember it Noir is a bit more sane? logical?
