On my laptop the Print Screen button is automatic. Saves it as it is in an image...

My old computer worked like that, I just pressed the button and had an image, only one at a time, but still had it (just changed the title and could take another one)

On this computer you have to transfer (copy and paste) it to Paint then save.

(Do I sound like I know what I am talking about???? Do it so seldom usually have to ask the teen)

You do know, because guess what, I tried copying in paint ... and I saw your post there... it works... I can't believe I never knew this and all this time I thought it just didn't do anything !!

yes I know, but it was an important detail for an incompetent like me, I just thought you meant that you print it, then copy it elsewhere so you could print another one you were just too "technical" for me

Does anyone know if it is possible to download a video that's not on youtube?

as you open it a video starts, 30minutes or so, and I wanted that video but I don't know if that's possible.. what do you think?

Did you try looking for it on youtube?

I have downloadhelper as a firefox add-on and it'll usually give me a signal if a video or audio on the page can be downloaded, but i get nothing from that. it looks like it could be a streaming video (where as YT and others download the vid onto your comp THEN plays whats been (or being) downloaded). there are programs that will record live streams, but offhand i don't know which ones.

couldn't find it on youtube, that's the first thing I checked. I finally found it there, but I can't take it from there.

If you found it on YT, look for the Firefox plug-in Download Helper, like raptorn suggested. You'll then be able to download it.
