Two further books were published, the last one being dedicated to Doctor Who and written by a whole bunch of Doctor Who actors, scriptwriters etc etc. But I'm sure all true Doctor Who fans already have a copy.
So here's the challenge.
Write a 100-word story then pm it to me. Your story can be about absolutely anything you like eg; Discworld, or a poem, or politics, or goats, or even a story containing only words that begin with a vowel.
"One hundred words must be EXACTLY one hundred words: not a syllable more, not a letter less. In addition, up to fifteen words (title, sub-titles and the like) are allowed. Hyphenated-words-are-argued-about."
I'll post the sories as, and when I receive them (no names included), then on Valentine's Day I'll post all the stories together on a seperate thread (no names included) and everyone can vote on which they think is the best story.
The winner will be crowned Forum Writer of 2012 and will receive an amazing prize (definitely) and a 5-book publishing contract from Transworld (maybe).
Only the writers of the top three voted stories will be identified.
You can send me as many stories as you like.
If this challenge is good enough for the likes of Terry Pratchett, Isaac Asimov and two Doctor Whos, how can anybody resist?
If any of you "wannabe-writers" don't make an entry, I'm sure everyone will understand completely.

Pencils at the ready, get set, go!
(PS: I'm not officially back and will confine my talking of the toot to this thread only.
