Currently reading it (so I skipped reading this entire thread) and adoring it I cracked up at the whole Upshot cuisine bit, and the Jane Austen homage.

I'm currently reading Snuff and really really enjoying it. I was a bit confused by a few comments suggesting that people where disappointed by it...this is the first discworld novel in a while that I've laughed out loud with and find myself longing for that hour or so at night when I can get some time to read it. Alongside the absolutely hilarious parts there is, for me, a very deep important message concerning the nature of humanity and what it means to be 'human'. Haven't said that, I am only half way through it...but so far, loving it!
