My top 5 movies of 2011:

1. Hugo
2. Drive
3. Source Code
4. Hanna
5. Paul

Special mentions: Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol, Thor, Captain America, x-Men: First Class, The Skin I Live In, Fast Five, Attack the Block, Rango, Rise of the Apes( I still refuse to use the whole title...), Contagion, The Fighter,The Green Hornet, Never Let Me Go, Black Swan, True Grit, The Adjustment Bureau, Sucker Punch, Your Highness, Insidious, Kung Fu Panda 2, Harry Potter 7b, The Inbetweeners Movie, Final Destination 5, Troll Hunter, 30 Minutes or Less, The Help, Footloose, Don't Be Afraid of the Dark, Paranormal Activity 3, Tintin, 50/50, Puss in Boots

I unfortunately didn't see to many Indies last year but will try harder this year.

Out of your top 5 Dave I have only seen Hanna which I thought was Ok but not great, but I only seen it as an inflight movie, Hugo I meat to see but did not get around to it. :)

I'd have Rise of the Planet of the Apes in my top five

Sherlock Holmes 2 (it was out before Christmas so counts)

Still not seen Sherlock 2 yet... :o ...saw The Artist yesterday, very good, not sure if it counts, came out first week of Jan here nationwide, but was Boxing Day in the West End I think...

mmmmm

number 1 is definately rise of the planet of the apes and my least favourite was green lantern the middle hundred or so are interchangeable :D
