It looks as if two people post at the same time, one of the messages disappears.

First I posted at the same time as Tony, then at the same time as you, and both messages are not here.

Actually, I've noticed that if you are going to crosspost with someone, your post doesn't go through - you see the crosspost and your unposted post. Presumably to alter it or delete it if necessary.

Its actually a really good feature for the games thread and others.
