Gerald Scarfe's quite famous for his political cariacatures - he did the ones on the Yes Minister/Prime Minister titles and he's worked on concept art for Disney too (the Hercules feature animation, particularly Hades & the demons)

A remarkable artist. I still remember him best for the Molesworth books.

The words were written by Geoffrey Willians. He didn't write much without Searle, but did do a book on 1960s air travel called Fasten Your Lapstraps. He wrote other books too like Admirals on Horseback, but I can't find out much about them.
