Has anyone read The Night Circus?

If anyone has read The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern, I’d love to hear your thoughts on it. Mainly: do you think Susanna Clarke handles this type of writing better?
I'm nearly finished and am noticing too many similarities. Still, am enjoying the Circus though.

Also, if anyone has read either of them and has any other recommendations in that vein, feel free to suggest more...

(I’ve run out of new Discworld novels and want to wait a bit before rereading my favourites.)

Not heard of that one, but Circus World by Barry B Longyear is well worth checking out.
