I love the headlines do people spend time making sure they are weird and funny I can not believe that with editors etc some of them got through.

I'm pretty sure that papers actually employ people just to write the headlines. A friend and I were once talking to a guy in the pub whose job was headline writing.

I think I remember seeing a bunch of those on a segment Jay Leno used to do called Headlines. For years we had people scouring the newspapers, trying to get something onto The Tonight Show, so I'm pretty sure most of them are from the U.S. :)
