I think I speak for a lot of the members here when I say that we are getting pretty tired of it.

Lil'Maibe - I'll say to you what I said to Quatermass a few months back - don't post in anger. If something has made you angry, then walk away, think about your response and then, if you still think you you have a valid point, then by all means make that point, but not in anger, as people might actually respect your opinion.

Quatermass seems to have taken onboard what was said and I have to commend him for his recent posts.

High eight - I feel that you are doing a certain amount of winding-up here. It's not funny any more.

If necessary I will temporarily lock this thread until things calm down, but I hope I won't have to do that.

To butt in and to possibly help on this software is a friends and foe function, the foe function allows you to hide all of that persons posts, that way if you can't read it you can get upset etc etc.

all you need to do is go in to your user control panel by clicking here: ucp.php?i=zebra&mode=foes and add the user(s) username into the box and press submit.

The FAQ explains it as well: faq.php#f6r0

Would stories from the time between UA and Snuff actually be possible, as, as said before, Discworld has always been rather straight forward in its timeline. (one or two exceptions aside)

Timeline was never too straight forward. Certain books involved massive leaps in time. Eric was a leap out of time , Wyrd Sisters had a huge leap , Pyramids was a confusion of time , Small Gods was way in the past , and with the goings on in Thief of Time Sequence can be thrown anywhere so while it might not work doing a Vimes or Watch book for that period , a stand alone or Moist or Witches book could be a possibility

With straight forward I meant that the stories are in chronological order, at least widely (not counting small gods and can't speak for pyramids)
At least up to the post-nightwatch novels you don't had book that were set years before an earlier novel (again, not counting SG) as in, for example, one watch book released after anothere would not be set before the story of the previous book.
Now, with Snuff and ISWM there is a huge gap to fill.

Ok now i get you. And true that the gap is a few years although its not clear where UA falls in the timeline (i could be wrong here) . Probably wouldn't work to pop a book in the gap years . Raises Taxes if it surfaced would have to postdate Snuff to work i think

May have been one of the reasons for the big gap, as the Undertaking may be almost finished by the start of it, maybe it was on purpose that UA, ISWM and Snuff didn't focus on that aspect much when referencing the city

I think UA ca be settled only a bit after MM, what with Vimes having recently returned form the peace-talks or what exactly it was. Can't imagine Vimes staying away from his family for much longer and not even Vetinari would, well, risk doing that to him.

Maybe two the other one projected was Raising Taxes but I don't know if that will be a Moist one.
