They made a mock up of places in Swansea on an LA backlot - why not just film those scenes in actual Swansea? It was good enough for them before.

most of the swansea bits were in swansea and the view they used was from up kilvey hill, those terrace houses they used tho dont have cellars, a boy i used to work with livs down the road and he definately didnt have a cellar

Na, Torchwood is filmed in Los Angles now...
But that was only the 1st half of the series, 2nd half is going back. :)

And those bits at the Cowbridge centre where they took Gwen's dad was filmed at St Athan RAF Station near Llantwit Major. :P

Hey guys, sorry I didn't realise anyone had answered, I thought I was going to get notification emails!

Great that some of you think you'll want to see the production; it's running from the 22-25 Feb, with a Saturday matinee.

And I like how the topic descended into Torchwood talk. However, even being from Cardiff, I'm not a fan. Doctor Who though, now there's a good show!

Hello, I am hijacking Amy's forumy thingy about Monstrous Regiment to add my call for you all to come and see it :) I'm a cast member, it's looking absolutely amazing and we're having a wonderful time doing it :) It's looking great already so who knows what wonders could be found in February :)
