The Hunger Games

I got this book yesterday called the Hunger Games.
It's about 12 boys and 12 girls aged between 12-18 who are forced to go on this live tv show where they have to kill each other and the last person left alive is the winner.
It's a really good book.
Has anyone else read it?

I've not read it but there is a film out in the near future, it's getting a lot of hype at the moment - http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1392170/combined

Release date is 23rd March next year.

Maybe they have something other than exploding neck collars to enforce the rules :lol:

Well the writer got the inspiration after watching Battle Royale

I am really looking forward to when this will be shown in the theaters. I have been a fan of the book series and even lined up really early to get the Mockingjay. Well, I could have opted to go a day later but because I just loved it so much, I had to oblige with lining up that early.

I like the idea of survival of the fittest and coming up with allies to be able to achieve the common goal.
