It was really fun playing at AM.

I'm a bit disappointed when I see how wonderful the makers are in the English version.

I attach a picture

To be fair, the fancy markers are in the Deluxe version of the game. It all depends on how much money you spend.

This makes sense indeed. Time to go back to London .... DW shopping.

The markers in your picture look similar to the ones in the Collector's Edition (wooden), although my board has a 7a instead of the number between seven and nine on the board and the dice.

I think both the Collector's and Deluxe editions are only available via the Treefrog Games website, and it's the standard edition you'll find in stores.

The deluxe edition appears to be being effectively made to order. They had 800 advance enquiries and are contacting people in order in blocks of 100 and supplying the game to them as they say yes. I really must get round to opening the boxes on some of these at some point  however as I have 6 different versions of Thud sets and nobody to play those with maybe I could leave these still sealed ....
One of those? Oh I'm sure I have one somewhere..
