Hi everyone!

Site's looking great Jason! Shiny! :D

I thought I'd be reassuringly predictable in my choice of name too :D

I belong to a collection of Sad People Addicted to a cellphone chat application known as MXit, and i was thinking of adding this forum to my signature on the MXit forum. (there are many Discworld Fans where i come from.. And i have a gift for sniffing them out) I wanted to ask.. Could the address of this forum perhaps be changed to something easier? Say.. forum.terrypratchett.co.uk? I have a tendency to TechnoFear so i don't know at all if this is possible..

As I'm a phpbb-admin myself I'm rather surprised they used the "old" phpbb-version for this forum - as the 2.0-version will be retired in early 2009 I would have taken the version 3.0 instead of having to update the live site in the near future...

The board style doesn't quite match the dark background (and the theme of the site...), especially the icons on the index or forum pages (new posts, new topic,...).

And I hope they'll give you admin rights, Jason... for several reasons it's useful to have an admin who is really active on the forums... To have such a minor error as the email settings of the board be a bother for the users for several days...

The actual site: the banner or better its borders are clearly visible, especially the blue margins on the top left/top right corners...

Don't take me wrong, I'm happy that finally there's a Terry Pratchett site - but my expectations are high... ;)

Maybe a link from the forum to the main page would be handy.

I'm finding that peoples user names are broken when I open the pages, will be easier in a while when I recognise people from their sigs, but it's ages before the names are complete enough to read.

The site is great and the forum is ok. I've used this type of forum before and didn't particularly like the functionality of it or aesthetics. In my humble opinion there is a much better forum using the free Simple Machines Forums an example of which can be found here.
