I'v finally got myself a job :D
It'll only last until new year, but it's something at least. And for a couple of months I'll be contributing more to the household :)
Now I need to find something to do from january 1. and onwards.
There were no public health laws in Ankh-Morpork. It would be like installing smoke detectors in Hell.

What's up with this glass? Excuse me? Excuse me? This is my glass? I don't think so. My glass was full! And it was a bigger glass!

Congrats Wannabe :D
Getting an education was a bit like a communicable sexual disease. It made you unsuitable for a lot of jobs and then you had the urge to pass it on.

Congratulations Wannabe! :D Hopefully, now you're in work you will find it easier to find another job (at least that's always been my experience). :D

Congrats Wannabe!:D

We are in the midst of our digital changeover so after Thurs next week I will be back downstairs selling popcorn and whatever, not good, until I find a new job. I was too scared to take the redundancy because I needed security, what with Christmas coming up. At least I have a say freeze, staying on projectionist pay for 2 years and not having a reduction. Don't want to be down there 2 years, though...:(

You've given yourself some breathing space at least, Dave.

Better than nothing Dave. I worked in a grocery shop in one of the rougher parts of Dublin while i was looking for a job in my field and it wasn't fun but it paid the bills. Ended up in hospital twice but i'm sure the cinema is a lot safer :D
