This is the cover Tony I was given this years ago as a Birthday pressie from a friend of mine who worked for Transworld. It's a little brusied in places I should get it repaired and framed.

I was given three, the other I have left is the Moretta one and the 3rd I gave to the daughter of a couple of friends I had, who liked Dragons.

I didn't even know they did posters for Pern books. Guess there's no chance of getting one now!

You deffinately should have it & the other one framed & hanging on your wall.

It looks like a poster for the store to me. I'll bet the bookstores tend to chuck them away when they've finished with them. :(

They came direct from the Transworld publishers they're not normal posters as they are really thick, I think it may have been what was used at the book trade fairs, or the cover artwork how it would like and not for commercial sale.

No, not baby Dragons, the little ones in the poster are Fire Lizards. Distant cousins of the Dragons.

Guess we've gone a bit 'off piste' here, this is after all the Merlin thread. I haven't seen this weekends episode yet.

Sorry I misunderstood, hadn't watched the new episode. I have now & it is very cute, but according to the trailer for next week, no mention of it? Wonder if Kilgharrah has adopted it?

Nothing confirmed yet, but rumour has it that it will fill the gap between the 2 halves of Doctor Who.

If so, and DW starts as promised on 1st September, that would mean Merlin comes back on Saturday 6th October.
