My Jigsaw

Postby Tonyblack » Tue Oct 18, 2011 7:42 am

A while back, chris.ph posted a link to this online Discworld jigsaw.

I enjoyed doing it so much that I looked for the website it came from - Jigsaw Planet.com

I then discovered that you could upload your own pictures there and make them as hard or as easy as possible. So I uploaded one of my pictures. :D It's about 140 pieces. If you click on the ghost icon, you can see a feint image of the final picture.

I normally can't be bothered doing jigsaws, but this is fun.

I could curse you Tony.  I hate jigsaws, but I've been sitting here for 50 odd minutes doing your helicopter puzzle & yes, it took me ages because I an not into them at all.
Called jigsaws because they were cut out on a jig saw. :D
Best wishes,
Tiff

Tony, you are a rotter. :x  It has taken me 14 minutes to do the surround on that one so far. It's evil. Not attempted the inside.
I shall save it in favs & go back to it. All this is stopping me from reading Snuff. As if I didn't have other things I should be doing too, apart from reading. :D

Del, the first bit is Anglo Saxon. "Wyrd bið ful aræd" ("Fate remains wholly inexorable"). As mentioned somewhere else, 'wyrd' means fate and therefore 'Wyrd Sisters' is not only a reference to Macbeth, but also the three sisters who are The Fates (or Norns in Norse myth) who spin the fates of men.

ηβπ is Greek and appears in Hogfather. The letters are Eta Beta Pi (eat a better pie).

The numbers are a countdown to my next trip to Tucson. :D
